| Sterilising Certificate Course
In 2006 the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand commenced offering the Sterilisation Certificate course that was previously offered by the NZSSA. The Sterilisation Certificate course in now completed over a one year period via correspondence. It is a requirement for this course that all new staff to have commenced the Sterilisation Certificate course within two years of their employment within the CSSD setting.
